They could have released them 2 weeks apart (which is still too much) or just skipped the theatrical release so you can watch the 5-6 hour movie at your pace. People regularly binge through entire seasons of TV series on Netflix.
I agree that you donβt want to be in the theater for that long, but who says movies have to be released in cinemas? Watching at home is a much better experience than even the best cinemas can offer.
