Hello Games did an ARG for the Waking Titan update in 2017. They sent out a number of them to people that participated and registered.
I assume that was a US only thing (maybe US/CAN?). I’ve been playing NMS since it was first around but don’t ever remember this - looks like it would have been fun.
Hello Games is based in the UK, so I’d expect it took place at least there.
