Hey folks, Matt “Running the Game” Colville is launching his own RPG, and it is NOT a d20 clone (though it has some similarities to D&D 4), and so it’s not weighed down by legacy mechanics like Armor Class and Ability Scores. The campaign video, and the page, will tell you about the game’s core design, so you can decide if you’re interested. It’s already funded!

Damm I’ve been wanting to start a new tactical high fantasy campaign, too, but this won’t be out for a long while. Will probably go with Pathfinder 2E or finally satiate my curiosity about DnD 4th edition, and will be looking at this again in a year or two.

Still, I’ve been enjoying their latest releases, and I’m always tempted to fund a Matt Coville Kickstarter just so he keeps making videos lol.

If anyone on the fediverse playtests this, let me know how it looks!
