My once-a-year foray into the movie theaters will be in THE LARGEST IMAX SCREENING AVAILABLE. November can get here faster And Villeuenue is working on Dune: Messiah as well, the man is saving sci-fi cinema by himself

This is definitely one that I absolutely must watch in the theater. I canā€™t wait!

I dunno. I kind of felt cheated after the first one. It was good, but it was half a movie.

Iā€™ll probably watch this one at home on bluray or whatever so I can watch both parts in one sitting.

No one is going to sit through a 5-6 hour movie. Well. Most people wonā€™t. They broke it at the perfect moment. While I wasnā€™t initially thrilled about the long wait between both halves, it does add a sense of realism in that time has passed in the real world too and the younger actors might look a bit older now. They werenā€™t shy about it being only part of the adaptation either.

They could have released them 2 weeks apart (which is still too much) or just skipped the theatrical release so you can watch the 5-6 hour movie at your pace. People regularly binge through entire seasons of TV series on Netflix.

I agree that you donā€™t want to be in the theater for that long, but who says movies have to be released in cinemas? Watching at home is a much better experience than even the best cinemas can offer.

Itā€™s the first non-marvel move other than Oppenheimer that Iā€™m truly geeked for.

Like, Iā€™m a huge Ant-Man fan, (we do exist) but even for Quantumania, I wasā€¦ Rightfully cautiousā€¦

But I donā€™t feel that way about Dune andā€¦ Christopher Nolan movies.

Itā€™s a nice change of pace to not have the trepidation.
