Geeky and sarcastic, but never too cool for dad jokes. I’m a proud father of two and a member of the LGBTQ+ community. I’ll gladly debate about anything from Sony vs. Microsoft to Kirk vs. Picard, but at the end of the day, I’m all about inclusivity and respecting different opinions.

I know a few people who have done this with Mastodon and it works quite well so far. Just like email, it doesn’t really matter where it’s hosted as long as it’s being respectful and not sending out spam.

That being said, AFAIK you can’t transfer a Lemmy account between instances yet, so if you ever change your mind and want to move to another instance, you may have to create a new account.

I second this. Sapceinvaderone has some great Unraid videos. I’d also recommend checking our IBRACORP, they have some videos about setting up Unraid just like @myxi@feddit.nl
