tuta has been great in my experience as long as you only need email. I was actually able to just get my last name@tuta.com and use addy.io for email forwarding.

There are linux phones. I have mixed to negative things from the perspective of people that actually have to have a phone that will just work. Alarms are fucking terrible from what I have heard.
