They wanted to get that first woman “status quo” president again. It lost them more votes than it won. I can’t believe they didn’t even have another round of primaries.
When they shut out bernie they really fucked the party. This timeline is their fault as much as anyone else’s.
That’s not what the image shows though. It’s comparing a kids 8oz hot chocolate to a short 8oz hot chocolate which have different prices despite being the same items.
I have seen a few posts going around about how there are short term loans like affirm being used for coffee shops but the image here just isn’t at all related.
There is nothing that dumpy is doing that cannot be undone or re-done by a future president.
Relying on a president that changes every 4-8 years to make overwhelming changes is going to cause a lot of issues. If we thought government was dysfunctional before, just wait until it’s maliciously dysfunctional.
I say that the executive branch has not been given the power to create laws or judge whether or not they are legal… but that seems to be what his administration has unilaterally decided is true now.
The laws are on the books. They should be implemented in good faith by the executive branch. This is not being done.
