Proctecting kids is only an excuse they don’t even protect them
Me too I use Lineage for microg and I haven’t had any compatibility issues

Printers were a pain on Windows on Linux they worked without much tinkering at least for me
Depends on the mirror though some mirrors are really slow
This is why I pay for most of the FOSS apps I use
