Exactly. Google had the existing userbase of – and free advertising to – every single person who visited google.com. All it took was a little banner saying “Get Chrome! It’s free and better!”

That, combined with having billions of dollars to throw at making Chrome successful, of course they became the #1 browser.

The Firefox team has never had the funding they really need to compete with Chrome. I see the AI and ad push to be a desperate attempt at securing enough funding to stay relevant. It’s really sad to see.

As long as Firefox lets me turn off any unwanted ad or AI integration, I will keep using them, but damn I hope they secure some funding and get their shit together before they lose the majority of their userbase.

The 4th Circuit court is out of their minds on this ruling.

No way would I do that job at that pay in NYC, especially as long as pretty much any idiot in the USA can own a gun.

Yes.

As someone who is sensitive to noise, I hated the lack of adequate standards regarding wall thickness and/or sound proofing. And the mail thief.

Really? Performance-wise, Firefox on Android runs great for me. No battery drain.

It is lacking in a lot of features though.

I agree with you, and I absolutely don’t wish harm or accidents to anyone on a motorcycle.

A guy in my neighborhood just bought a motorcycle. He doesn’t rev it up or try to be inconsiderate, but just the act of twisting the throttle to drive away at a slow speed violates the city noise ordinance and can be heard for a half mile or more.

New Rule: if the motorcycle you purchased exceeds noise ordinance levels for a given area, said motorcycle cannot be sold, driven, or registered in that area, nor can it be parked in a public parking spot in that area.

Honestly though, I wish police would simply enforce noise ordinances and anyone with more than one violation would have their bike impounded.
