If I remember correctly, During development of Black Ops 2, Treyarch consulted with the US military or something on what “near-future” tech would be like.
I think that’s one of the reasons why I loved that game so much. It wasn’t way out there and hypothetical like Infinite Warfare was. But still grounded with realism.

Whether the person saying it actually cares or not is irrelevant. They’re saying it to be rudely dismissive of what is being said while simultaneously trying to sound like a badass for attempting to speak for everyone else.
i.e., Being assholes for clout.
It’s schoolyard bullshit that shows the person saying it still has a bit of growing up to do.
This made me think about my struggles with trying to learn moves in fighting games.
The tutorial can’t tell me the move with actual button combinations. No. Instead I have to read it as punch + kick + grab first. And because I’m a friggin’ noob, I have to try to interpret what buttons those actions are.
How is this relevant? It really isn’t, the more I think about it. Bad comparison. Ah well. At least you know how sad I am at fighting games now.
