I enjoy posting Soviet Art and propaganda posters. I love Marxism, and Marxism-Leninism in general.

Reader mode is one of the reasons why I keep going back to Firefox or Firefox forks :). I really love how it just works, and how it also can unlock semi-paywalled (soft-locked) articles.

Michael Parenti’s book, “Blackshirts and Reds: Rational Fascism and the Overthrow of Communism” has a chapter covering faults, or rather, ineffiencies of the former USSR. I would look up the exact chapter, but my I lent the book to my dad, who was very interested in reading the book. It’s an amazing book, so if you end up reading the chapter, I recommend the rest of the book as well :)!

If you don’t have the means to buy the book, then it should be available on a lot of different sites, like archive.org, libgen and so on.

Also, shameless plug for the Michael Parenti video archive on YouTube.

The first few seasons are great. The 4th season is a bit of a mess. First it was cancelled, and later renewed, if I remember correctly.

I use the NewPipe fork with Sponsorblock as an optional feature. You can get NewPipe on F-Droid here and the fork with Sponsorblock here.

As a rule of thumb, I always check their respective GitHub pages for links, I don’t really trust the Google Store. There are too many spam duplicates of various apps, especially FOSS ones.

Currently reading Inventing Reality: The Politics of News Media by Parenti :). A great book, but also somewhat depressing. Even though it’s quite old, it definitely still holds up. It kind of seems like nothing has changed.

You can read something China’s permanent representative to the United Nations, Zhang Jun, said here.

Basically saying to show restraint, to limit civilian casualties. And that the UN should push for a two-state solution.

Otherwise, you can follow the CPC’s official news paper, People’s Daily, and their “World” publishing here

And in general, Xinhua, the largest media organ in China: here. Also this and this.

In Denmark the conflict in Russia/Ukraine has resulted in accepting American troops being stationed here, and of course a massive $20 billion USD investment in the military, over the next 10 years. The articles are in Danish, use a translator if you’re interested.

Denmark has for at least 70 years always said no to having American troops stationed in our country, so it’s quite a big move. Very few political parties have been criticizing it this time around, except for the most left-wing ones (obviously including our very-small communist party).
