For me minimizing and maximizing steam and/or moving the mouse to where the pop-up would’ve appeared makes it show up. It’s there, just invisible.
Op is asking why the community is called cat pics and whether videos are allowed here. Not just why direct uploads aren’t available.
Side note: while I get your point, it’s not self hosted unless you’re hosting your own server. Even most server admins aren’t self hosting, they’re paying cloud compaies to host the instances.
The update wouldn’t install unless it was signed with the same signature as the original. It probably failed in the background.
This applies to everything imo. I hate when I ask a specific question about a specific thing and get quora ass generic answers.
Mobo compatibility lists are bs. Any ram works with any mobo. At best the list is just the kits they bothered to verify that are built and performs well, at worst it’s just advertisement for the ram company.
RS is ripjaws (low profile xmp), FX is flare x (low profile expo), TZ is Trident Z (high profile). 5 is the ddr version. In Trident Z models N suffix indicates expo, others are xmp. R is for rgb and other letters are colors (w - white, s -silver, k - black).
Expo is for amd xmp is for Intel, though almost all amd boards recognize xmp and some Intel boards recognize expo too. Everything else equal, expo should be marginally faster.
Just get any that can carry the current. Which will be any unless you have a super hungry setup. Dealing with instability is the job of the power supplies of the devices, not the cable.
Used to use aether, gotta rant now that I remembered about it.
It would randomly refuse to launch. Network propagation was slow. If your immediate peers uninstalled aether or didn’t have it open you’d be cut off from the entire network. When it failed to connect it would spawn a new process every once in a while until it did, DOS ing your router. Moderation transparency was never implemented, I’m not even sure if moderation itself was. The last time I could use it it was infested by conspiracy theorists. There was no way to use an account on multiple devices easily. The whole ephemeral posts thing didn’t work, it just wouldn’t delete stuff, but the network never grew enough for that to be a problem. It used proof of work when posting, commenting or voting which I suppose was to combat spam, but was silly imo. You couldn’t undo votes. If you cast an upvote, you could only turn it into a downvote. If you cast a downvote it was permanent.
