I personally believe that oppositional defiant disorder is so prevalent it’s basically a personality type for half the US population.
I live in a highly religious part of the country. 79% of the state is some form of christian.
I have had several conversations with people here who do not comprehend that catholics are christian. In fact I even had an argument about it here on Lemmy a while back. I wonder if someone will pop out again to try to tell me that catholics aren’t christians.
There was that Russian submarine commander that refused to launch nukes and saved the world. That’s a pretty big one.
Vasily Arkhipov to put some respect on his name.
mechanical /mĭ-kăn′ĭ-kəl/ adjective
Of or relating to machines or tools.
"mechanical skill."
Operated or produced by a mechanism or machine.
"a mechanical toy dog."
Of, relating to, or governed by mechanics.
You’re using the second definition and everybody else, including me, is thinking of the first or third. I would call anything that has a mechanism integrated into it, such as a manual slide that covers a camera, no matter how simple, to be mechanical. A playground teeter totter is pushing the definition, but I’d say it’s technically mechanical.
I often wonder how it goes behind closed doors. Is Zelenskyy all polite or is he more like you’re full of shit and you fucking know it?
I like your optimism. I don’t think anything could change these people’s minds though. Somehow they will be convinced Obamacare took away their Medicaid, and Trump is working his ass off to fix it, but all these regulations and taxes and government employees are gumming up his operation.
Just watch… Like I said I like the optimism. Hopefully one day I can call some of the hundreds of thousands of hicks in my state comrades.
4 is completely different gameplay but very good. The remaster is well done. If you play it, look for shiny things. Kill birds if you have enough ammo to spare. Finding treasure to sell was my favorite part of the game.
