The 2 gun system actually makes some sense imo. It’s very simple for anyone playing on a controller, and introduces a decently natural sort of “balance”, where a rocket launcher type weapon might have a lot of punch but be less practical for extended use than, say, a rifle. I definitely prefer having an arsenal of chaos, but I am a PC gamer.

Brilliant idea, but it’ll never happen. Even if all the big players agree to it, some “Innovator” will just undercut them by offering a “no watermark” model, assuming that state players like Israel or the United States don’t make their own in-house variants. That’s what happens when you move fast and break things, I guess.
They could literally set up gun turrets on the Rio Grande and Abbott would still talk about how Biden is “weak on the border” and bang the secessionist drum because he refuses to approve a first strike against Mexico City. It doesn’t matter what compromise will always just ask for more. It costs them nothing and their voters don’t fucking care. Anyone who says otherwise is a dumb fuck who doesn’t understand the first thing about politics.
I mean look at the situation so far. Even before this, Biden has been tighter than Trump. Have the GOP acknowledged that? No! Biden is a democrat, democrats are loose on border security, QED Biden is loose on border security, even if the facts say otherwise. Republicans will repeat this to anyone who listens, and they will continue to do so indefinitely.
