I don’t want to put blame directly on individual voters, in the sense that they might be able to learn in 4 years, and “Trump did that” only addresses the symptom of the problem. “MAGA did that” sounds apt to me.

Well speaking of that, Trump’s not going to have to spend a dime, he will have all of America’s money at his disposal.

Now we know how much it costs to assemble an army of bots and bootlickers, enough to net you a seat of power in government.

Trump just has to say, “…as an official act”, then he’s a-OK to go with whatever, however unconstitutional it may be.

This time we’ll have all the evidence in the world… plus a 900 page booklet of stuff they were planning to do.

Upon hearing the news, I felt despondent and a pit in my stomach… I went to do a bit of karaoke and my mood has recovered from that at least.

Clearly political con-artistry is effective. Ford, Smith, Moe, Poilievre and any wannabe dictators of Canada who may emerge in the future, are all taking down notes.

Voters failed the country. America’s leaders failed the country. The courts failed the country. Billionaire-backed media failed the country. The only blockade to power left is to organize and to refuse orders that are unjust en masse. An order to conduct a nuclear strike is only as possible as those in good conscience are willing to carry it out.

I dunno what kind of medicine these 70 million voters need… but hard times and inflation are on their way again.

Bring sects of intellectualism close, make labor not just a pawn or vassal to the government.

If America can survive the next four years, then if America can condemn and repudiate MAGA and say “I don’t want this anymore” for decades to come, if the competition can actually promise to do more than just kind of coast along… maybe there’s a chance. Similar to post-Ronald Reagan’s tenure, America will have decades of problems to fix, in the best of scenarios. In the worst: War is Peace, Freedom is Slavery, Ignorance is Strength. In the middle case, another massive event happens and voters kick out MAGA for another term.

States that think the feds will actually be hands off are in for a rude awakening.

We need a lot of stickers that say “Trump 2024 - You Did This” put it on gas pumps, in front of stores, hospitals…
