Yeah…looking into Lemmy because Reddit is fk US PoS. Now that I understood how Lemmy works, how servers and federations work, it’s really not that much of a difference tbh. But for newbies I understand that having to choose a server looks daunting (“what server is the right one for me? Naaah…too complicated!”).

ah, glaub ich habs…muss auf der feddit.org landing page oben statt local einfach nur auf all gehen und sehe dann auch alle anderen communities. Cool, also quasi wie auf Reddit, nur, dass die communities zT halt einfach auf unterschiedlichen Servern sind, es aber eigentlich keine Rolle spielt, wo man sich befindet, weil föderiert :-) muss man halt auch erstmal überreißen leider als 0815 Anwender…
