Not open source but I use Planta for watering reminders/tracking.
Still playing Tears of the Kingdom! I’ve been playing it nearly every waking moment of free time since it came out and it still feels like there is so much left to explore. I’m at 3 sages and 80 shrines, so I know I’m roughly 75% done, but there are so many discoveries that I just keep tripping over constantly.
78,000 rupees, RIP.
I’d say the intervening… what was it… 15 year?.. gap is what killed my love for the game series. I was in middle school when I played the first one, and I never even bothered with KH3. The story was painfully overwrought by the end of KH2, and I knew that tacking on another sequel wasn’t going to fix it. Nomura is going to Nomura.
It’s a shame because the series was one of my favorites back in the day. At least the soundtrack will always be good.
A horse-sized duck is only barely off from being a Utahraptor. I will take the duck-sized horses.
I have to watch my sodium intake, so a lot of snacks aren’t allowed any more. I miss pork rinds and pretzels.
I’ll have fruit (cherries are in season now and I can eat a pound of them in one sitting even though my stomach will hurt later), tortilla chips, lightly salted peanuts, a cookie (my local grocery store makes their own for $5/dozen and they’re fantastic), or sometimes a slice of Swiss cheese.
I’m in the sidequest lull before Titan right now. (Which reminds me a bit of FFXIV, but not nearly as bad!) I do like that the sidequests make you feel more attached to the hideaway and the minor characters. The game does need the moments of quiet to contrast with the huge action setpieces.

It’s also been confirmed that the game will give “affectionate and consensual romance options with a man temporarily transformed into a grizzly bear,” for example.
Excuse me, what the fuck?
