Ich glaube nicht, dass das ein echtes Problem ist. Es gibt einfach nicht genug Dienstleister damit das zur übergroßen Hürde wird. In Deutschland sind praktisch nur Visa und Mastercard relevant, gerade wenn es um einfache Debitkarten geht. Der Händler braucht also zwei Verträge, einen mit Visa und einen mit Mastercard, alles weitere läuft zwischen dem Kartenanbieter und der ausstellenden Bank.

Noch keine weite Verbreitung. Das Konzept “kostenlose Debitkarte, x€/monat Girocard” sich bei den Banken aber immer mehr durch. Und der Durchschnittskunde in Deutschland ist daran gewöhnt, dass seine “normale” Karte praktisch überall akzeptiert wird (oder jedenfalls überall da, wo Kartenzahlung möglich ist, hat ja lange genug gebraucht bis das üblich war) und beschuldigt daher wohl eher den Laden als die Bank.

Ja, jetzt neue Atomkraftwerke zu bauen wäre natürlich Schwachsinn, und die uralten AKWs ewig weiterlaufen zu lassen geht auch nicht. Ändert aber nix daran, dass wir deutlich besser aufgestellt wären, wenn man in den 80ern nicht komplett damit aufgehört hätte neue AKWs zu bauen. Dann hätten wir uns zuerst von Kohle, Gas und Öl verabschieden können und Russland schon 2014 den Mittelfinger gezeigt.
