I’ve also seen House of Suns mentioned here a few times. It gets my vote for the exploration of deep time due to the speed limits of causality.

It takes an hour or two for me before they hit. Early on circa 2013-14 when I was discovering edibles trying to feel the high, I hate the whole chocolate bar! What an awesome experience.
