As the saying goes, the only people who make money in a gold rush are the people selling shovels. I guess this bloke is one of the people selling shovels.

I use tuta and they seem mostly ok.

I read his Wikipedia recently and he just seemed like a user who was careless with the people in his life. His philosophy was “do what thou wilt shall be the whole of the law”, which is obviously open to abuse and exploitation.

Just found out from a screenshot in a tweet that Marc Aandreesen considers Nick Land to be some kind of patron saint of “techno-optimism”. Setting aside Land’s ugly views about everything… I didn’t think optimism was what he was known for. More like grasping, desperate, disgusted embrace of the onward march of capital.

My other kook-watching sneerhobby is Rod Dreher and there’s been bleedthrough from him too! Strange bird, Vance…

Who could have predicted this except for everybody ! There’s a reason none of these galt gulches ever get built.
