Being on call means they have to show up within 30 minutes? That’s ridiculous. Idk about that specific area, but in most major US cities it takes 30 minutes to travel ~20 miles on a good day and much longer during peak travel times. So even if they were sitting in their car, waiting for the call, they can’t even live that far away at all. Just the other side of San Jose takes 30 minutes without traffic like wtf
Umpqua is one of my favorites to say.
Landlords should be sitting on the boxes and the people whipping should be cops
I fucking hate everything about this. I recently moved pretty far and switched docs because of that. Then a couple more times because I couldn’t find the right fit. Then the one I finally found moved away. Then I found another but they informed me to get my meds I have to go in person and their actual office is 3 hours away so I switched again and I don’t even like the current one but fuck

I’ve been around a lot of shitty people in my life and something I’ve noticed is the worst people are usually quite adept at acting better than they are
So I got curious and looked up your book on Amazon to read reviews and having never even read it, I can already tell which reviews are fully lib-brained nonsense. They can’t even conceptualize a military that doesn’t conform specifically to modern US standards in a fucking sci-fi novel and are so fucking smug about it.
Anyway, guess I need to read your book now. Probably could have made it through 100 pages of it in the time I spent reading these reviews.
