Please next time go to lemmy.studio for music related communities (and off-load lemmy.world, helping federation).
Don’t worry. You did nothing wrong.
It’s just that I’d be better if we spreaded communities around between different servers, and that instance, lemmy.studio, was kinda created by a music fan for mostly music-related communities.
You can create an account there and then create communities there, or don’t, it doesn’t really matter, but it’d be cool to see different instances flourish.
For a second I thought they were launching their federated lemmy/kbin instance. With different communities, like “support”, “bugs”, “news”…
Would have been freaking awesome and a great use case for Lemmy and federarion.
Good for them anyway.
Everyone subscribe! We should make it at least the main KDE community.
Love me some officially supported federation!
If you are a fellow Linux user, make sure you don’t get Nvidia, and i believe Dell and Lenovo have good compatibility and support Linux, but check that out in any case.
Those first couple months learning git… yeah, it is weird, but once it clicks… you’ll be surprised how truly simple it is.
The programming world would be awful without it
I was interested in NixOS until I saw no reference of a specific software I want. Literally not a single search result.
So, I guess its biggest flaw for me is that it cannot beat Arch Linux’s catalogue. So, maybe in a year I’ll check again.
Hi! eslemmy.es might be a good discovery place, fully in Spanish.
