He has an ASUS laptops, one of the only ones you can get, got Arch on there.
The devices are not even shipped for the most part, people are booting Windows, using the ACPI dump to build the device trees.
Then those need to be upstreamed into the kernel, drivers need to be written.
Its not Asahi Linux, but still hard.
But there is progress, quite fast!

@onlinepersona โthe Linux Foundationโ, a newbie just reads it thinks that Linux is unified & has a big oranization regulating it & stuff ๐คฃ , but in reality, even a 5 YO with a PC or laptop in his parentโs basement can create a Linux distro, without having access to anything but some mediocre documentations
