The āno trophiesā narration probably really got him unfortunately. Maybe if Haland wasnāt at City heād feel that new goalscoring that heād get wouldnāt last as long as Shearer. Also I was hoping that the contract with FCB will be shorter so thereās a glimmer of hope that he comes back to claim the record later on but it seems unlikely now.
It seems that transfer approach has changed to data driven so thereās higher probability that there will be less disappointments than after Bale.
