Fandom!Old = one who has been in a certain fandom for a long time.

Crack-ship = Shipping is a romantic and/or sexual pairing of two fictional characters. A crack-ship is a ship that makes no logical sense, as if it was conceived with heavy drug use, or made “on crack”.

AO3 = Archive of Our Own, a website for fanfictions, fan art, fan videos, and other fan-produced content for various different fandoms. One may find many crack-ships here.

I think a ship between deadpool and Wolverine makes a lot of sense though. At least from the perspective of it being a piece of entertainment media. They have experiences they share exclusively, as well as personal, natural ones. They have a lot in common, in terms of interest, history, social circles. They also have very divergent personalities. It is perfect ship material.

Not exactly.

Deadpool doesn’t have the claws, or the heightened senses, and he seems to “heal” somewhat faster (though that’s probably due to Wolverine’s heavy metal poisoning due to the adamantium skeleton; he heals faster if he doesn’t have it, but also becomes more animalistic).

Also, Wolverine’s healing factor would probably be able to deal with the cancer (he’s been alive for over two hundred years without developing a single tumour), while Deadpool’s barely manages to keep the cancer from killing him, because it also sort of makes it super cancer; he exists in a constant balancing act between the cancer and a runaway healing factor killing him. If he were to be cured of the cancer without also removing the healing factor, it wouldn’t be pretty:

And, of course, as much trauma as he has, Wolverine isn’t insane enough to break the fourth wall.
