Forced to log in when using Firefox install of Hexbear

I am using the thingie in Firefox that let’s you install a web page as an app on your mobile device. It used to work flawlessly, but now I am forced to login when ever I reopen the app. Devs, any ideas on why this could be? I have some Dev experience, I’d love to debug and fix as needed.

Known bug in firefox, might be fixed in next lemmy version https://github.com/LemmyNet/lemmy-ui/issues/2666
