It’s ridiculous, Valve has shown that you can ship what is essentially a portable PC, with a linux based operating system, and people will gobble it up. The brand even benefits from it, because the device won’t run as hot or use as much battery. The only real downside, if you’re only using it for gaming, are the few popular games that don’t support linux natively or via proton.
