A2+B2=C^2? What distance are the diagonals if the sides are 6’ apart?

6x6 + 6x6 = sqrt72 = 8.49’ !

The diagonal is 6ft. The side is 6 ft. So 6² + 6feef² = 6²

6 * 6 = 36
36 = a² + b²
Lets assume a = b
So a² = 18 = b²
a = b = 4,2426406871
