Hello,

I’m an academic at the University of Cambridge’s Computer Lab. I’m currently doing some research on how people who work with algorithmic systems keep records about them.

My immediate concern reading this is that it implies you don’t know what an algorithm is. Computer programmers and professional chefs both work with algorithmic systems, but I am immediately skeptical you are interested in both for your survey.
