TLDR:
Windows 11 v24H2 and beyond will have Recall installed on every system. Attempting to remove Recall will now break some file explorer features such as tabs.

Things seem to have improved in the last 5 years, so maybe give it another shot. Iām on Fedora 40 with gnome and lots of extensions, and Iām constantly tinkering with it to make it look just right (for fun, not that I feel like I have to). Nothing catastrophic has happened yet!š¤
