Why turn Ukraine into Cambodia when you could just order your troops to go home instead…?
The whole wanting Ukraine as a buffer state doesn’t really make sense when you’re just annexing the buffer territory anyways.
Russia doesn’t want to annex Ukraine, and they have never stated as such. I don’t know where you people got confused.
Have you told them that? Because they have already officially annexed 4 different oblast…
Even if this is the case, this is not a reason to destroy millions of people more. People’s lives matter the most. Russia definitely does not kill anyone unarmed and does not torture in these territories. And Russia has stated many times that it does not want to seize the whole of Ukraine.
They haven’t, they are securing territory in a war, which isn’t annexation.
