I think it’s like how baking soda is a “soda”. It’s a powder.

You take your coke and dip them, soak them, sprinkle them, or pickle them… Just like with a frosty, the list goes on.

But on a real sense caustic soda is the powdered or dry form of sodium hydroxide, which most people know as lye or drain cleaner. It’s often used in the food industry for things like processing (like for Jell-o) and adjusting the pH. (which can enhance flavors)

I think it’s done by employing minimum-wage kids that don’t give a fuck and not even trying to train them properly
