I think the news media gave so much damned coverage to and amplified the MAGA/GOP fight to discriminate against trans folks it seemed like that’s all anyone was talking about.

Like creating jobs and doing more than any other piece of legislation to address climate change with the Inflation Reduction Act. Getting the wealthy to pay what they owed in taxes by funding the IRS. Saving consumers billions with the Consumer Protection Bureau… And on

It’s not just Republicans that are tired of “woke policies.” The election shows that. Lemmy and Reddit are just huge echo-chambers on the subject. People from both sides of the aisle are sick of the woke BS.

I said Trump was a moron, and he is. I said Biden was a moron, and he is. I said that dems were denying (and hiding) his mental decline. And they were. (And I got called a paid russian asset for doing that.)
