People have yet to grasp that the public forum can’t solve a multitude of problems all at once. If you put something in the public forum you should expect nothing to happen unless there is a system already in place to deal with it. What we should spend time talking about is solutions that can cascade into other solutions. Systems that can make other systems. We need to categorize our problems and put them in a queue to be reconciled. What we have now is people just wildly jumping from one problem to the next as if identifying that problem was the most important thing and solving it is secondary.
It’s like when you watch Jon Oliver. It’s a good show but at the end of the episode all I have is another insurmountable problem I now recognize and I file that away with every other insurmountable problem Jon has shed light on.
