I’ve only seen the anime, so far, in there she keeps saying it’s not necromancy but different, legal, ancient magic.

…Now that I say it like that it really sounds like a bad excuse for necromancy…

Oh no it’s very illegal. She doesn’t say otherwise, she just claims that it’s poorly understood and that there totally isn’t any legitimate reason for the spells to be outlawed.

A Community for Dungeon Meshi a.k.a. Delicious in Dungeon.

The first season of the anime adaptation can be found on Netflix. Season 2 is confirmed and presumably currently in production.

DO NOT SPOIL THE ANIME WATCHERS

  • Do not discuss events or characters from manga chapters past #52, without clearly marking as spoilers
