Gotcha, that would make sense.

I too took a break until recently.

I still think you need to take a minute to look into how much freer many nations are on a fundamental level than China. That’s not propaganda it’s factual. Not every nation or government values freedom equally.

And many nations do all of those things better than China while retaining greater individual freedoms. We don’t have to become authoritarians to achieve this goal.

We’re already living in a single-party state that enslaves and murders POC and indigenous people with impunity, and which bars anyone remotely leftist from residency and citizenship to maintain the status quo. Not sure how that’s better, but go off
