What do you have to do, to give a kid, younger than 10, even the concept of suicide? They are mostly not even aware of their mortality, let alone the idea of it being an escape

Religion. As a child, I was told I was born hated by God nightly on the “Christian” radio and had to make for it. Yeah f that God and followers, my Boi Jesus is the best.
