No, according to a bunch if Chinese mainlanders I know this did indeed get better. It’s amazing what a government can do when the population doesn’t stupidly believe governments are always incompetent.

An according to a bunch of Chinese mainlanders I know, that is all BS. See how that works. There is tons of proof out there for the absurd crap the CCP does to pretend to do good that is all a facade. You aren’t going to fool me, I have seen first-hand what happens when the government installs fire hydrants to make a village safe, then when there is a fire, the firefighters can’t get water out of it because it isn’t hooked up to anything. Or when the pollution is so thick it is poisoning the local vegetation, so there are trucks driving around spray painting the dead trees green. Or people being force-fed Xi’s idiot ramblings everywhere possible from a young age. China is great, their business practices are corrupt and their commgovernment is evil. Sorry.

That’s the US national institute of health claiming progress in China.

Here’s a 40 year study talking about the improvements.

This is well documented. China realized it could afford to cover these people and that if thet did not they would have a problem similar to America very quickly. They spent the money rather than letting people go without preventative care which is cheaper thab emergency care in the long run. Why is it hard to believe that the Chinese government can do the right thing from time to time?

Tell ypu what you go look for proof that they didn’t improve healthcare between 2000-2025 with a specific focus on 2009-now and I’ll find you proof of that.

You’ll find you are going to have difficulty finding sources that claim otherwise which I know from when I didn’t believe this claim and looked for them.

China was embarrassed that they did not have universal coverage and they do now.
