If you’re planning to have one or more children with someone, speaking to the person they divorced after more than a decade of marriage is probably a sensible idea.

Well, anecdotally I didn’t and it’s going well so far. I feel like trusting the honesty of the person you’re with to be open about their past should work

It’s a mixed bag.
If someone came to me about my ex had inform them what made me stick around for a decade and what tainted the memory of that and why I never would again.
I’d hope they changed and grew and I’d hate to taint someone else’s ability to have something with them, or doubt their ability to grow.
But also. Idk, I wouldn’t sail on a refloated titanic
