We’re not without our cons though, biggest problem we have are probably the Tankies (Authoritarian “communists” who will overlook any wrong doings of China, Russia, NK because they think their governments are the “gold standard”), but here they’re mostly on the Tankie Triad lemmy.ml, lemmygrad and hexbear. You have a .ee account so you only have to worry about .ml, but on Lemmy you can do a personal instance wide block if you’d rather just not deal with them. I signed up for hexbear out of morbid curiosity, that place feels like an insane asylum.
It’s a site by and for Communists and a safe space for queer users, it isn’t that complicated. I’d also recommend not calling it an insane asylum, as @OpheliaAzure@lemmy.blahaj.zone said it has one of the biggest trans userbases on Lemmy and that’s frequently used as a transphobic insult, not to mention the ableism.
