Why the hate for Brave? It’s open source. If you don’t like the crypto stuff turn them off

My dislike for brave is mostly about its chromium base - chrome being the embrace - extend- extinguish offensive on the web from google.

There’s a lot to hate.

The company is run by Brendan Eich, the browser is just a chrome reskin, it crams crypto bullshit in your face, and they’re now testing out AI features to add to it.
