Yes sure, it’s pointless for politicians to make that indictment when they have no intention or interest with prosecution.
It also distracts from actionable issues like civilian deaths, emergency services and healthcare infrastructure being destroyed, the lack of press, sanitation, food supplies, power and water.
If every foreign politician agreed it was a genocide, people would be more likely to act.
