My nearest way is using my steam controller but isn’t comfy to navigate Netflix or other streaming websites.

But isn’t Kodi an straight up media player instead of full blown Desktop Environment?

You still need an DE/WM installed on the system to run Kodi, you cannot just run Kodi by its own thing directly

@Otherwise_Direction7 @ccunix Yes Kodi is indeed a medic center, but you could launch it directly though a custom xsession, without the need for a de or wm. See the paste link below…

You don’t need a window manager to run Xorg clients. You’re probably better off using a light one, but it’s not strictly necessary.

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Linux is a family of open source Unix-like operating systems based on the Linux kernel, an operating system kernel first released on September 17, 1991 by Linus Torvalds. Linux is typically packaged in a Linux distribution (or distro for short).

Distributions include the Linux kernel and supporting system software and libraries, many of which are provided by the GNU Project. Many Linux distributions use the word “Linux” in their name, but the Free Software Foundation uses the name GNU/Linux to emphasize the importance of GNU software, causing some controversy.
