#KDE is not only extremely newbie-friendly, itโ€™s also awesome for Linux veterans (Me, using Linux since the 90s, started with fvwm2 as window manager).

Oh agreed. 20+year Linux user here, and I donโ€™t think (or remember) Iโ€™ve used anything else but KDE.
