CSO - Hi there. Did that laptop I ordered 6 hours ago get invoiced, paid, shipped, received, and configured, yet?

Teams - [ERRRRORR]

Me - Hi Five, Teams!

---- An hour later when Teams comes up ----

CSO - Forget it, I checked the tracking site

Lol yes. Part of my role is logistics and I meticulously maintain a DB of where import shipments are at, tracking refs, ETA, date to last ETA update so ppl know how fresh the data is, and a link to the carriers site with all the detailed tracking info there.

Without fail at least 5 times a day “customer is asking about their order when is it expected to arrive”

If I ignore them long enough they will go check so any time I’m focused I just go do not disturb.
