How do you say something like that?

โ€œThereโ€™s a thing for which I donโ€™t know what it isโ€ โ€œThereโ€™s a thing where I donโ€™t know what it isโ€ โ€œThereโ€™s a thing that I donโ€™t know what isโ€

or (the one which I hear people say a lot but sounds awkward:) โ€œThereโ€™s a thing that/which I donโ€™t know what it isโ€?

To be honest they all sound awkward to me to varying degrees
