The comments are what you expect. All agree that we’re psychopaths who support genocide and just want authority as a goal in itself. All agree we do no leftist praxis, I guess just based on vibes. One user wrote:
let’s be honest, they should be removed from society
which is cool. One-on-one, online or in person, I’m pretty patient with people like this, but when I see a whole thread like this with hundreds of upvotes and no pushback it makes me feel tired.

Can’t remember how long back it happened, but it goes a little something like this:
A user called Silverlegion
posted this screed in main
Hello Chapo community. We have been working in the shadows for a while to sow discord in the community. We have alienated dozens of your members. We have led innocent people to be slaughtered by your hands. We have hacked into and suicided accounts. We might even mod a comm or two. The time for cooperation is over. Our only goal is to make this community unsafe and ensure its users feel unwelcome.
We reckon you have about 2 months before this site closes for good.
Remember the three S’s: Scare, Scatter, and Sabotage.
We are Silver Legion.
Keep an eye out for us. Expect something big soon.
From then on for a while any time a user was banned, Silverlegion would post from an alt claiming they hacked the user that got banned to make them post cringe, with the claim that they were going to cause Hexbear to fight amongst themselves until no one is left.
Eventually Silverlegion claimed that they were gonna hack Hexbear and permanently take it down somehow.
On the day Silverlegion claimed Hexbear would fall, the site was closed for a while for maintenance.
Hexbear users found the whole affair hilarious and parody accounts were made to make fun of Silverlegion.
To this day it’s unclear whether Silverlegion was a Hexbear that was really committed to the bit, or a wrecker with a habit of threatening way beyond their capabilities.
