HI all,

Sorry for spamming, but seeing that the other OSM-post got quite some traction, I wanted to point out that the OSM-community here is coming to life as well.

You can post your beginner questions into the newbie friday thread or brag about your mapping projects into the showoff sunday thread

At last, please post OSM-related content over there! We need to get this party started…

The kbin webui likes to summarize.

For example the mention @shadearg@lemmy.world simply displays @shadearg as a link to https://lemmy.world/u/shadearg, completely obscuring the format of the actual mention.

I suspect that the direct community link may be transformed in a similar way.

Edit: explanation

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Linux is a family of open source Unix-like operating systems based on the Linux kernel, an operating system kernel first released on September 17, 1991 by Linus Torvalds. Linux is typically packaged in a Linux distribution (or distro for short).

Distributions include the Linux kernel and supporting system software and libraries, many of which are provided by the GNU Project. Many Linux distributions use the word β€œLinux” in their name, but the Free Software Foundation uses the name GNU/Linux to emphasize the importance of GNU software, causing some controversy.
