Precisely, the grammar of cinema is not 1:1 with real life.

They have a lot of time to fill in these episodes so I don’t blame them. I like the scenes just for atmosphere, but making fun of them is so easy.

I see a potential here for the long-winded reaction scenes from Indian soap operas. At least then the viewer clearly understands that it’s not meant to be real time.
