Is there a official lemmy instance for this?

I mean, what makes something official in your opinion? I could just open one now and it’d be as <fictional institution> approved as any other.

According to migration sites like sub.rehab, “official” Communities are those started up by ex-Reddit moderators. If you start up your own, the best you can ask for is “spin-off” status
